2018 LA84 Foundation Summit Recaps
LOS ANGELES — The 2018 LA84 Foundation Summit happened on October 18 at the JW Marriott L.A. Live.
The event was full of impactful, insightful and powerful panels focused on the theme for this year: Athlete Activism + Social Justice: Taking Action for Our Youth.
Some of the featured speakers this year included: NFL Hall of Famers Tony Dungy and Eric Dickerson, Olympic medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad, Executive Director of the Dodgers Foundation Nichol Whiteman, 2018 Coaching Corps Coach of the Year Serena Limas, Girls with Sole Founder Liz Ferro, NBA Champion Metta World Peace, Paralympians Oz Sanchez and Nickey Nieves and Five-time NBA All-Star Paul George.
