The new era of youth sports: Play for All
On October 27th, 2017, we hosted the Sixth Annual LA84 Foundation Summit at the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles. We brought together more than 350 civic leaders, sports executives, non-profit leaders, national sports experts, and Olympic and Paralympic athletes for a full day of thought-provoking and forward-thinking content focused on youth sports advancement.
The theme for the Sixth Annual LA84 Foundation Summit was “The New Era of Youth Sports: Play for All”. Speakers focused on equity, inclusion, innovative ways to ensure that all youth have equal access to sport as a way to promote positive development and life-long well-being.
Through keynotes, panels and breakout sessions, featured speakers shared insights on the latest trends in youth sports, best practices on how to harness the power of technology, collaboration and innovation to increase access and drive social change through sport and structured play and inspired with personal stories of impact on how sports has transformed lives on and off the field of play.
